Over 12,000 police officers, Interior Ministry troops and volunteers will ensure law and order during mass events in Moscow on Tuesday, when Russia celebrates its national holiday - Russia Day, the Interior Ministry reported.
The opposition plans to hold its March of Millions expected to gather up to 50,000 people in the center of the Russian capital.
Besides, the city will see a festive concert on Red Square and fireworks, as well as other mass events.
Traffic in downtown Moscow will be restricted, the ministry said.
