MOSCOW, June 19 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's flagship air carrier Aeroflot said on Thursday its net income calculated to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) increased 21.4%, year-on-year, in 2007 to $313.4 million.
Aeroflot, which holds a 45% market share of regular international flights to and from Russia, said revenues in the reporting period grew 27.3% to $3.81 billion and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) climbed 49.4% to $723 million.
Aeroflot annually carries more than 8 million people or over 10 million together with its subsidiaries, approximately 25% of all passengers transported by Russian airline carriers. The company flies to 96 destinations in 49 countries.
