Supporters of presidential candidate Vladimir Putin plan to hold a march February 23 and expect that 200,000 people will come. Meanwhile, opposition protesters announced plans to gather on the Garden Ring Road in central Moscow on February 26, planning to join hands to form an unbroken circle around the city center. Organizers estimate that this will require at least 34,000 people.
