MOSCOW, August 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's oil exports to countries outside the former Soviet Union declined 7.4%, year-on-year, in January-June to 102.8 million metric tons (754 million barrels), the Federal Customs Service said on Wednesday.
At the same time, natural gas exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a loose association of former Soviet republics except the Baltic States, were up 22.7% to 88.8 billion cubic meters, the service said.
Russia's oil exports to CIS countries declined 0.5% in the reporting period to 8.9 million metric tons (65 million barrels) and natural gas exports fell 8% to 9.9 billion cubic meters, the service said.
